Emergency Food for Millions of Bees After Hurricanes
In partnership with Mann Lake, the Florida State Beekeepers Association, and Cargill, responded to Hurricane Helene’s devastation by providing emergency food supplies to beekeepers in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. We delivered 41,000 gallons of syrup and 40,000 pounds of bee pollen substitute to sustain millions of at-risk bees. This effort is part of an ongoing mission to support beekeepers and protect vital pollinators as they recover.

Chris Pratt and GGC Raise $650K to Fight Food Insecurity
Chris Pratt and Greater Good Charities, along with partners, raised nearly $650,000 through the Feed Thy Neighbor initiative to fight COVID-19-related food insecurity. Supported by The Hunger Site and 12 Tomatoes, 100% of donations went to relief efforts. Pratt contributed $100,000 in matching funds and hosted a star-studded New Year’s Eve Instagram Live. Funds were split between Feeding America® and frontline hunger relief grants.

GGC Builds Pet Shelter for Domestic Violence Survivors
Liberty House in Albany, Georgia, was transformed to welcome residents’ pets, removing a major barrier for domestic violence victims. A new 12'x24' pet shelter with three suites, outdoor access, and amenities was built, alongside a fenced play area, storage shelving, a ramp, and sidewalk. Over 13 days, 26 volunteers contributed 1,524 hours. The facility now provides 1,095 safe pet housing nights annually.
    Disaster Response
Meet disaster head-on with pre-staged supplies.
Hurricanes Helene and Milton unleashed unprecedented devastation across the Southeastern U.S. We deployed 140+ trucks and 5 planes across five states, delivering 2,800 tons of emergency supplies, evacuating shelter animals, saving billions of bees, and providing nearly $10M in aid – transforming every $1 donated into $27 of relief.
Pre-staged distribution centers leave GGC well-positioned for disaster.
